PWPSD’s Ward 7 incumbent Stefanie Clarke returns for fourth term

Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) is pleased to announce the official results of the 2025 PublicStefanie Clarke School Board Elections, held on Monday, October 20, 2025.

Re-elected for the 2025-2029 term is Stefanie Clarke in Ward 7, representing Grande Prairie East and Grovedale. Residents of Ward 7 re-elected incumbent Stefanie Clarke with 500 votes, or 63 per cent of the 792 votes. The remaining 292 votes went to Mark Klemp. The results, provided by Returning Officer JoAnn Vanstone, were deemed official at noon today, Friday, October 24, 2025, under the Local Authorities Election Act.

Ms. Stefanie Clarke and her family are residents of Grovedale with deep roots in the area. She is passionate about the community, volunteering with the Grovedale Figure Skating Club for the past 16 years, and throughout the community when she can. She is excited to begin her fourth term as the voice for Ward 7 students and families, and will continue to advocate for the enhancement of all aspects of the student experience across the division. She is looking forward to tackling some big hurdles like the Peace Wapiti Academy replacement school. She believes open and transparent communication is the key to success.

Acclaimed newcomers Cortney Lunde, Ward 8, and Charity Watson, Ward 9, along with incumbents Martine Piebiak, Blaine Riding, Lori Grant, Dwayne Speager, Wendy Kelm, Dale Crane, and Stefanie Clarke – representing Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 respectively – will be officially sworn in during the Organizational Meeting of the new Board at PWPSD Central Office at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025. The first regular meeting of the new Board will follow at 11:00 a.m.
